Jesus said ” Let the children come to me!”

Boetie 14 years old gave his heart to Jesus about 7 years ago through Tanya Hester’s ministry. He has a tender heart for the deprived kids in his community.

To save them from “one meal a day of pap and water” he initiated a soup kitchen under the covering of NCCC, starting with 15 kids and currently feeding 40 children between the ages of 2 to 13yrs daily.

Boetie has a daily program with the kids covering different activities. Their cheerful singing and laughter stirred different people who contribute towards giving “extra’s” to bring variety in the wholesome, tasty “bottomless” soup with bread that they enjoy daily with gusto and a lot of gratitude. The kids honour Jesus in praise and prayers.

The children, and their dependance on this on this daily meal, has touched people as far as Mosselbay where Nellie and Eugene are donors of clothes for the kids. Nellie also contributes to the feeding scheme and is also donating Christmas presents to all! Thanks for your obedience to the great commision of Jesus christ.

Long term plans are to minister to the parents who abuse the grants paid for the children by alcohol and tobacco abuse, and to involve them in the caring of their own children.
