"Blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ."
2 Corinthians 3 - 5

When life is tiring, when you are struggling with your sin, when family members aren't saved, when bills aren't paid, when school is difficult, when work is exhausting, when your health is failing, when your loved ones are hurt, when the future is unsure, and when a good friend leaves, it is easy to be discouraged.

Discouragement is a thief. It steals your vitality, your zeal, your joy, your peace, and your contentment. If discouragement dwells long with you, its friends will soon join.

Their names are fatigue, hopelessness, despair, self-pity, depression, doubt, and bitterness.

Sometimes, discouragement can be so strong that you even don't want to go on living.

Discouragement is dissatisfaction with the past, distaste for the present, and distrust of the future. It is the result of blindness. It is ingratitude for the blessings of yesterday, indifference to the opportunities of today, and insecurity regarding strength for tomorrow. It is unawareness of the presence of God, unconcern for the needs of our fellow man, and unbelief in the promises of His Word.

If we have nothing to rely on, or we forget our blessing and look to our circumstances, then that is when discouragement begins to take hold. Instead, what we need is encouragement. We need hope and peace and the knowledge that the Lord knows our troubles has great concern and compassion for us and is not leaving us unloved or un-cared for.

Keeping your eyes on Jesus is the best way to be encouraged. In Him, you can have comfort and peace and encouragement. You need to find Him and His words, and by faith rest in Him.

Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest," Matthew 11:28

We are so proud of our UCAN team who have had outreaches at Orion Secondary School, De Aar Primary School, Noupoort Combined, Eureka Primary School educating the learners on the use and devastation of drugs in our land.

It is so important for us to stand together in unity and fight against this devastating demonic power that has taken possession of our youth and our land..

Let us all fight the good fight as the Bible says and unite in prayer for God to "save our youth and save our nation".

Miracles - Matthew 17

The miracle of the coin found in the fish's mouth.

This is the same God that raised Lazarus from the dead so many thousands of years ago and the same God that we serve today who has never changed but remains the same today and forever.

We still experience these miracles every day of our lives.

Sometimes in the phone call that comes at just the right time
In the verse that speaks to exactly what it is we need.

We see God’s miracles in the vastness of the ocean
We hear them in the faint whisper of a mom’s voice while holding her newborn baby.

But then sometimes we face big, scary circumstances and we pray for a miracle but through our struggles our faith waivers.

It’s in these dark times, we can turn to the Word of God and remind ourselves “That the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below,” Deuteronomy 4:39, and this same God loves and cares for us.

All we need to do is call upon His name.

He says: ...... Ask and you will receive, knock and it will be opened to you.......

Jesus is Lord believe that He was, He is and is to come.

Have a blessed day

You have not been abandoned.
Romans 12 : 10
Love one another with brotherly affection. Out do one another in showing honor.”

Not only is God always with you, but you are surrounded by a community of believers.
There are so many people who care for you, who have good intentions at heart, who long to protect and love and support you when you’re low.
Reach out to these people. Be open to their help. Solicit advice and kindness when you need it.
Build friendships. Open your heart.

You were never meant to face this world alone and you are never alone.

Jesus is right there by your side!

You are loved, even on your darkest days......
John 3 : 16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God loves you so much.
He loves you enough to give His Son for you,
to watch His Son die for you,
to put the sins of the world on His back for you.
That is incredible love.

Some days you may feel undeserving, blemished, bruised. But God doesn’t see you that way.

He sees how you haven’t measured up,
He sees the sin you carry and commit, but more importantly, He sees forgiveness.
He sees you as His son or daughter.
He sees you as His creation, and there is nothing you can do to remove that beautiful image from His mind.

On your darkest days,
Remember that He is with you.
Remember that He loves you.
Remember that He will never forsake you.

Remember that His Son died for you, and all you need to do is repent and believe in Jesus and the forgiveness of sins.

Then be cleansed, renewed, replace dark with light, and start again in His name.

Jesus has an incredible love for you
