  • NCCC (Noupoort Christian Care Centre) aims to reach people with substance dependency problems and who experience adapting issues to everyday community life. A minimum period of 52 weeks is offered for individuals to gain insight and restore confidence in themselves.
  • Residents 'work' in various projects and workstations where they can spend the time to get back into a working routine and deliver some fruitful results. Every project is headed by a staff member.

How to Be Content.....
Phillipians 4 : 11 - 13

11.I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
12. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
13. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Does it ever seem like other people are happier than you?
You scroll on Facebook and see people having fun on their vacations, spending time with one another, or celebrating their achievements. You, on the other hand, are struggling along, just trying to make it through the day and coming home exhausted.

In an effort to console yourself, you try to rationalize why you’re in this situation and figure it just has to be that way.

Over time, it can be frustrating. You could be sabotaging your own growth without realizing it. But the good news is that, if you pay attention to your thought process, you’ll realize that you can become in control of your situation.

So instead of holding yourself back, focus living a positive life in Jesus. Remember, happiness takes effort and a change in your thought life.

1. Focus on improving yourself.
2. Know that self-worth comes from within.
3. Make a conscious decision to be happy, clinging to Jesus the author and finisher of your faith.
4. Stop clinging to the past, hand it over to the Lord and He will take care of it.
5. Surround yourself with people who are positive and supportive.and who believe in the power of Jesus.
6. Be truthful.
When you take the steering wheel of your life into your hands together with Jesus on your side, you gain a greater sense of autonomy than you ever had before.

Are you a "Sparkling Diamond"......... Do you stand out among the crowd?

Christians should stand out like sparkling diamonds against a rough and dark background. We should be more wholesome than anyone else. We should be poised, cultured, courteous, gracious, but firm in the things that we do and don’t do. We should laugh and be radiant, but we should refuse sinful pleasure.

This is an age of compromise, expediency and toleration. Yet we read in the Word of God such statements as: “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean” 2 Corinthians 6:17.

Which voice will we listen to?
Which appeal will we yield to?

To the Romans Paul wrote: “Do not be conformed to this world” Romans 12:2.

To the Corinthians he wrote: “Come out … and be separate” 2 Corinthians 6:17.

To the Galatians he wrote that Christ “gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world” Galatians 1:4.

To the Ephesians Paul said we wrestle “against the rulers of the darkness of this age” Ephesians 6:12.

To the Thessalonian believers he wrote: “Abstain from every form of evil” 1 Thessalonians 5:22.

To Titus Paul said: “denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age” Titus 2:12.

James says: “Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God” James 4:4.

Peter exhorted his readers: “not conforming yourselves to the former lusts” 1 Peter 1:14.

John says: “Do not love the world or the things in the world” 1 John 2:15.

God Honors Strength
When you as a Christian do not go to the extremes of others round about you, you may be considered different. But God will honor and bless you as He did Moses, Joseph, Daniel and hundreds of others who dared to be different and stand alone.

Psalm 118 : 24 says: “This is the day that the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Since today is a gift, since today is a lovely day, it only seems proper to rejoice and be glad in it.

God’s love has endured our past. And it will endure our future
And it’s a love we can lean on today.

So stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. Instead, swim more rivers, climb more mountains, kiss more babies, count more stars. Laugh more and cry less. Go barefoot oftener. Eat more ice cream. Ride more merry-go-rounds. Watch more sunsets.

Enjoy life and live it as you go along. The station will come soon enough.
